Jurassic Coast Swimming
Wild Swim Adventures
Winter Location Swims
Fun monthly swims and walks in different locations around the Jurassic Coast. All abilities are welcome*, wetsuits or skins, these swims are about enjoying all that the sea has to offer during the winter, amongst a group of like minded people and under the supervision of open water swimming coaches and lifeguards. Distances will vary according to group abilities and the sea temperature. All sessions will include a safety briefing before swimming or dipping followed by hot chocolate and cake and a short walk to warm up afterwards. Often we will walk a bit further to access different swim spots that you might not go to otherwise. These swims are designed to encourage you to keep swimming through the slightly less inviting winter months.
*Providing you have done a swim session with us before or can prove competence in cold water swimming
Previous locations from top going clockwise: Dancing ledge, Studland sauna, Newton's Cove, Old Harry Rocks, Man O War Bay, Ladrum Bay, Durdle Door and Worbarrow Bay. There is always plenty of cake and hot chocolate and often some silly antics including beach yoga to warm up afterwards!
Our winter swim challenge is live now too, just a bit of fun with a private swim at the end for the winners. link to downloadable sheet here
